Dark Chocolate Overnight Oats

Are you a fan of prepped meals? Well, this one is for you. A daring and yet easy step by step recipe, can be made for a quick breakfast or just a daily snack!

The most awesome thing about this recipe is that it is completely adjustable!

Lets dig in!..Wait, no we’re not done yet! Let’s assemble our ingredients first.

  • 60g Cadbury Bournville Dark Chocolate
  • 250ml of milk
  • 1 banana
  • 75g oats
  • 10g fresh raspberries
  • 10g blueberries

(This recipe requires a blender or food processor)

To start off, melt your chocolate of choice (we use Cadbury Bournville for this recipe). Melting chocolate can be done over a ‘bain marie’ or if you wish for quick and easy just pop it in the microwave in a small bowl and heat it using 20 seconds bursts (*becareful using this method as overheating can burn your chocolate).

Chop you banana in bite size pieces (or pieces that will easily break in a blender) and along with the milk add to the melted chocolate. Blend this mixture until smooth.

Stir through the oats and pour into a container (for aesthetic purposes, pour into small dessert glasses and refrigerate overnight). 

Serve with chunks of fresh banana and blueberries (optional) with a dash of whipped cream!
