Ever felt like you don’t want something too sweet or too salty to eat? Well, we’ve got the most balanced creamy dessert for you! It can even be eaten for breakfast or after lunch!
What you will need are some fruits and a can of spray on whipped cream!! For this recipe we have chosen more of the berry variety, but you can substitute with any fruit you desire.
- 300g-frozen red fruits (strawberry, blackberry, cherry etc)
- 20g-sugar or less according to your taste
- A Can of whipped cream (Elle&Vire)
- 4-tbsp strawberry jam
- 4-mint leaves
Place the red fruits in a saucepan and bring to low heat to thaw, add half of the sugar and caramelize for about 20 minutes. Pour the fruit compotes in a bowl, add some sugar and whisk lightly.
Take four tall glasses and add 1 tablespoon of jam at the bottom of each glass. Add the whipped cream and pour some of the red fruit compotes over the top. You can even do it in layers by adding the whipped cream, add the fruit compotes and more whipped cream finishing with a garnish of mint leaves.
This is best enjoyed on a calm Sunday afternoon with a good book in hand and the sound of the waves in the background.
