How to:
Cadbury Milk Chocolate is essential for this recipe! So, first things first melt the chopped up chocolate and butter (either in a bain marie or 30 seconds burst in the microwave) and set aside to slightly cool.
In a large bowl, over a simmering pot of water, whisk the eggs and sugar together (almost like a bain marie) until light and fluffy. Add together the melted chocolate and butter mixture, flour and salt in the bowl and refrigerate overnight. (Don’t take this step lightly, as in don’t skip this step because we are blooming our chocolate and setting it. Grease 4 metal rings and line a baking tray, please use baking paper as opposed to foil to line your baking tray as to prevent the chocolate to stick to the foil and lead to a mess when trying to remove.
Take out your mixture and roll into ball shapes with your hands from the batter. Squeeze into the rings (ensure that your dough are approximately the same size. Bake at 200°C for 15 – 20 minutes and serve immediately with a dust of icing sugar. Ofcourse you can always add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to it and enjoy this delicious dessert.
